is the dark grey true to its color? It looks more tan in the picture...and id prefer tan over the dark grey

I would call it Mushroom, great color! I've worn it with a navy dress, black skirt and white jeans.

It is more of a dark taupe than a dark gray. But it is a beautiful color regardless.

I purchased the True Red pair and they were true to color as seen online. I've also purchased another pair of booties from Sole Society in Gray and they were also true to the color shown online. Hope this helps.

anyone do ballroom dance lessons with these Audra shows, really love and use to heels but for learning?

Best Answer · Hi Sheryl, I bought these shoes and this is my opinion. Unless you are a professional, don't attempt to learn dancing in these. I might make an exception for people who are particularly steady moving around in their 4" stilettos as well. Otherwise, to answer your question, no. These are more a casual work day, easy night kind of shoe mileage. For 4" heels, they're not bad in terms of comfort. I've had better, but I've definitely had much worse. Get the shoes because they're cute and you like wearing them. Don't get them for dance lessons.Just my opinion. Thanks!

I would not recommend these for ballroom dance for the reasons that the heel is very high and when doing actual dance steps a slightly mid-heel is recommended. Also, as someone who has done ballroom dance in the past the shoes used by dancers are much more flexible and soft, allowing your foot more movement and flexibility.
