Social Media Intern

POSITION
The Social Media Intern position is responsible for developing and maintaining social media platforms for the Sole Society brand on Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest and more. This position reports to the Social Media Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and manage content and communication on social media accounts
Coordinate and maintain the marketing/programming calendar on a daily basis
Copywriting for posts, video and photo captions
Constantly and proactively engage fans on all properties and reply to their questions in a timely manner
Gauge community sentiment and report feedback
Track measurements, update reporting documents and analyze results weekly
Stay on top of trending topics and breaking news in fashion and social media

QUALIFICATIONS

Expert knowledge on social media platforms – setup, functionalities, community behavior, what works, etc.
Exceptional communication, copywriting, and editing skills
Extremely detail-oriented and organized
Knowledge of fashion and around-the-clock passion for social media
Self-starter and creative thinker
Experienced in all Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Photoshop experience a plus
