Can you untie the nod and wear it in a different style?

Best Answer · I have this necklace. It does look like it could be untied, but once untied, it would be 1 long straight piece. It would still need to be tied somewhere to be able to wear it.

I don't think you would want to because of the way the strands are twisted. If you undid the knot the necklace might lose that twist on the portion that goes around your neck.

No, the knot is all one piece with the necklace. Also a side note... it is a little shorter than pictured. I've only worn it once because it doesn't lay in the spot I wanted.

Technically you could. I would just be concerned getting the new knot tight enough to stay secure. I do love it this necklace though! I wear it all the time.

Yes, it can be untied, but why would you want to and ruin the look of the necklace.

Nope. It's made to stay in that style. It's a great necklace though!

Certainly not easily - I think it would risk breaking it.

No it cannot be untied. It is permanently a knot.

What is the metal used for this necklace?

      Best Answer · Hi Angela-

I purchased this necklace early in the summer and it was well worth the money! It's sturdy, well made, and pretty.

I can't answer this question perfectly as I'm not certain exactly what type of metal it is made out of. The only thing I can say is it is not made out of is nickel as I didn't have a reaction to wearing it. My guess would be some type of coated sterling silver?

The necklace is well made and just as beautiful in person as it is in the pictures.

      Angela,

I'm not totally certain what the exact metal is, but it is fairly light weight for how many chains are knotted. It's a pretty color gold, doesn't get tangled & is the perfect length for the necklace. Also a great color of gold-doesn't look cheap and isn't too loud.

      Enjoy!
