I'm only 5' tall--will this boot be too high for me?
      · Add Your Answer · Votes 0 0 · A shopper on Nov 29, 2014
Best Answer · It depends on how high you want them. I am 5'7" and I ordered an 8 and a half. The front part comes up to the top of my knee cap. They are cute and good quality. Hope this helps.

I believe it will be too high for you but it depends on how high you want them. Take a measuring tape and measure from your foot up 21 inches. The boot is gorgeous though and I had to return mine because I couldn't get it over my knee so I was quite disappointed. Good luck!

You would certainly have the advantage of having them come higher over the knee, therefore enabling you to wear a shorter skirt....cute!

Do these boots insulated for the winter?
      · Add Your Answer · Votes 0 0 · A shopper on Dec 17, 2014
      Best Answer · Hello,

No these boots are not insulated. They are lined throughout with a soft canvas like material. I did wear them in the rain and did not get my feet drenched, however, I would not wear them in the snow or heavy downpour. Hope this helps.

      Thank you.

No, they are more of a fashion boot. They are nice, quality fashion boots, but run a little small. I would order up a half size to a size. I had to return my original and re-ordered up a size I am waiting for their delivery.

Best Answer · I ordered these for my daughter without looking at the calf circumference. They are really nice quality and good looking, but not large enough for her calf. Because they were so cute, I hated sending them back so gave them to my niece (24 yrs old) who loves them! Great looking boot! Wish that they offered in a larger calf size.

My calf is 14 1/2. Will these fit with skinny jeans?
      · Add Your Answer · Votes 0 0 · A shopper on Dec 14, 2014
Best Answer · I'd say that is iffy and depends on the thickness of your skinny jeans. My calf is a 14 1/4 - just measured and when i tried on my boots with skinny jeans they fit but were snug. I'd say if you have jean looking leggings that's a better option. They fit very slim to the leg and I've only wore them twice -- once wtih bare legs, once with leggings so not sure if they will stretch out or not.

      I hope that helps.

They don't fit my calfs, even bare, but I love them so am considering taking them to a cobbler to have them stretched. The only thing I'd suggest with larger calfs. would be tights.

This is a beautiful boot, how ever, since your calf is 14 1/2 and the boot is 15, it will stretch a little bit, but it will be a very tight fit.

The brown is a beautiful chestnut color. I loved the boots but they did not fit my calves and I never have problems with boots fitting my calves. They are made beautifully so maybe you will have good luck with them. Personally, I already had a pair of Frye neutral colored leather boots and wanted a brown pair and the color as I said is very rich.

      · Add Your Answer · Votes 0 0 · bearinthewoods on Nov 1, 2014
Best Answer · No. They do not stretch when you first put them on. I'm pretty sure that with time they'll stretch out a bit. But, if you have one calf slightly larger than the other, they will not be asymmetric when you're standing with your legs together (that was an issue for me).

Does anyone have a pair of these boots they aren't satisfied with and would like to sell? I need size 11 in natural. Thanks!
