More orange than camel color
I bought these in the taupe last year when they were on sale, and decided to snag a pair in the camel color this year when I saw them on sale again. I knew these would be super comfortable, but they are more orange than I expected. I was expecting something a little more muted in color. I still like them, just not what I was expecting.

2nd Pair
I love these boots so much I bought them twice. Last year I bought them in black and when I saw these on sale in taupe, it was a no-brainer. They are the perfect height and stacked heel. I wore them yesterday for 14 hours straight and my feet felt great.

Love these boots!
These boots fit perfectly and are comfortable! Smooth appearance and a tiny bit darker than they looked to me in the picture but really pretty! The heel height is great - not too tall. Definitely recommend!

These are simply divine. Although a 3 1/4" heel, these are my most comfortable booties. I love them. Am going to purchase in another color. Wonderful booties.

Nice Bootie
My favorite part about this shoe is the simple lines and beautiful heel. This is a fairly comfortable bootie for being such a high heel and there is plenty of room in the almond shaped toe box. These have a nice classy feel though they are a little stiff in the front; over time this should loosen up. For better arch support and to take up room in this slightly bigger shoe, it is more comfortable with an arch support. Got the size 9 and with socks it fits well. Could not wear this without socks. Overall really like this basic.

Boots were very fashionable and comfortable. When I first put them on they were a little stiff - but that lasted less than an hour. I wore them all day on my first time out!

Do these run narrow?
BEST ANSWER: I don't feel they run narrow. I'm a size 8, and ordered a size 8. With socks it's a perfect fit. I stand 8+ hours at work on concrete floors and I wore them all day today with insoles meant for high heels. Super doable! Great for a night out, too.

My size is not available (8.5). Do you think if I order a half size smaller, it will still be OK (8)?
BEST ANSWER: I wear 4.5 but can wear size 5 if they don't run large. I bought size 5 Micah in black and with semi-thick socks they fit well. I still have some room in them but they feel comfortable.

I'm 5' 2 will these boots wear well on my short stature?
BEST ANSWER: Yes! I'm only 5'6" and have found that these are very flattering boots - with jeans tucked in, jeans rolled up, and skirts/dresses. I've been really happy with them so far. Only problem I've ran into is that they rub on your leg at the top - wearing them with socks is much more comfortable than not.

There's conflicting sizing information here based on the reviews. Is it true to size, or bit smaller?
BEST ANSWER: I have 2 colors of the Micah boots and I feel they both fit true to size.
I typically am a 7.5. Because of the reviews, I got an 8 in both pairs.
Now, they don't swim on me that's for sure but i do have a drop of room in both.
I would say, get your normal size and you will be just fine.

Is the sole leather ? Would like to dance in them.
BEST ANSWER: I think the sole is leather? I would dance in them for a while - not all night but i lasted ALL day at work from 7:30am - 6:00pm if that helps....

BEST ANSWER: Definitely true to size! I am a true 7 and bought a 7. Everyone has their own opinion of how they like their booties to fit, though. Usually I order 7.5 so that I can wear socks with them, but a 7 was perfect. Keep in mind, these are genuine leather so they will most likely stretch *slightly*. I haven't experienced this yet, but good to know in case you're deciding between sizes!

Just checking to see if others bought 1/2 size up in the Micah bootie, and if so, do they fit perfectly or are they too big? Since there are no returns, I'm debating between two sizes. Thanks so much!
BEST ANSWER: I have average size 8 feet, average width, and the 8's fit well. However, the ankle portion is quite narrow so it may fit tightly on your upper ankle.

I am very interested but wondering about the colors. How true are they? I don't want brown.
BEST ANSWER: It's more of an orangeish tan... not brown, for sure. I wouldn't call it a true camel either. It's not brown enough to be camel. At least on my monitor, it's pretty true to the on-screen color.

Is the Taupe pictured on your website darker than in real life? Are these shoes more of a brown or a gray?
